News on the appliances

I am sorry I did not write about how God worked. We bought some new appliances, and they are being shipped to our container. Jesse was able to find some, it cost us the same amount of money, except we did not buy a air conditioner, oh well.
The Lord has blessed us so much and we are so thankful. We can not imagine doing this on our own, thank the Lord He is doing it all.
We are Rich in Christ.
I will soon write all of the extra amazing things He has done for us. He already gives us so much. He has given me Salvation, a wonderful family, health, another day to serve Him. I have nothing to complain about. He has given me so much extra. I want to give Him all of the glory.
I will write soon.

A visit from Malerie our old Nanny

My old Nanny from Québec came to visit one last time before I left. I had a wonderful visit, Jesse, Joshua and I went to Jerusalem Cafe for lunch with her parents, and she came to my parents house for a few days. I had a wonderful time catching up with her.

10 days left

I am getting very anxious, we leave in 10 days. The realization of it all is setting in, we will be in Africa in 11 days, wahoooo I can not believe it is really happening. All I have left to do is make a few skirts pack the suit cases and pack up all of my other clothes for storage, and of course spend time with family and friends.
This is such a exciting time for me and for my family. Joshua can not wait to go on the airplane, Jesse can't wait to get busy in Africa, and me well, I can't wait to paint our walls and fell like I am really home to stay. Also to finally meet the people that God has sent us to, and finally be able to call a place home.
I know it is going to be a drastic change for me and for my family, but I rest in the fact that this is God's plan and I am completely resting in Him. Please pray that we adjust quickly to the culture and especially for Joshua, that he will be confident that he can learn French.

Another tooth

Joshua lost another tooth, this makes a grand total of 7, Jesse told him that if he losses any more he is going to need dentures. I will post a picture later of his toothless smile.

Anxiously waiting to see what God is going to do.

We shipped our truck out last week, what a relief. It has been a stressful time for me, but I am so glad it is over, so I thought. The other day Jesse informed me, that the website that we bought our appliances from canceled our order. Wonderful. I asked the Lord okay what is your plan, please guide us. We contacted another website that sells 220v appliances and they gave us some quotes, again wonderful thank you Lord. Well, now we can not get in touch with them to tell them that we want the appliances, we have left 3 messages and 3 emails. Please pray that God will lead us in the right direction and show us in His perfect timing.
